Last Saturday WVM & BSW joined forces with the Markowska Street Church in North Praga to organize a Charity Picnic Day where the neediest in the area could enjoy a day of Fun, Food, and Friendship. The school’s enthusiastic student body provided the main manpower. Besides a great barbeque lunch with hot and cold drinks, plus snacks etc., underprivileged families and individuals had the chance to obtain donated clothing, toys, and furniture items. Live music was provided, as well as a talented DJ. There were also various activities organized for kids, such as face painting, football, and a bouncy slide. Many thanks to Paul and other staff and parents from the British school of Warsaw, for their positive initiative to help organize the event, and to all the students who contributed their time and energy for a truly worthy cause!
