Besides serving those in need of practical, emotional or spiritual help, a major emphasis of the Foundation is creating opportunities for others to enjoy the satisfaction of truly helping others. Local schools often get students and their families involved in our service actions. A recent team building project was undertaken by our Expat and Polish friends at ASW.  Thirty needy “Families in Crisis” were supplied with basic food & various treats and extras at Easter thanks to their generosity! Pictured above are some of the ASW student volunteers, and below; four young mothers of homeless families and a few of the other grateful recipients. Besides assisting in projects organised by their schools, local students sometimes team up with each other to help out on weekends. Pictured below is an enthusiastic student team from the British School of Warsaw, who helped us utilise the Foundation’s new van to move donated goods to our current storage and sorting facility.  Their worthy endeavour included distributing items to neighborhood poor, and doing a great clean up job!  No wonder they look inspired!
