With the help of friends and sponsors, especially the American School of Warsaw, in December we were able to deliver 5 truckloads of Christmas/winter aid boxes and special hampers to all 60+ members of the WVM “Families in Crisis” program. Many were overwhelmed to see how much had been donated for them and their children, and we saw an abundance of tears and smiles during the week of deliveries.
We were also able to collect financial support from friends near and far which was divided proportionately to cover the families’ other most pressing needs such as heating fuel, etc. A big thank you to all who contributed!
